Can I study the course on a handheld/tablet device such as an iPhone or iPad?
Yes. Our courses are built on an advanced “responsive grid” e-learning course platform which, in simple terms, means that you can study the course on any handheld device because the website will ‘respond’ to your browser – whether that’s on an iPhone/Android phone or an iPad or other tablet device.
We have spared no-expense to ensure that our students receive the richest, most professional and most convenient learning experience.
All you need is access to the internet and you can study for an exciting new career from literally anywhere in the world, whether that’s at school, at work, at home or, even on the beach during your holiday!
Are any books or manuals sent to me?
No, all learning is carried out via our secure E-Learn website, all the course content is online for you to access at any time 24hrs a day. The only item sent to you is your hard-copy pass certificate once you have completed the full course.
The great benefit of e-learning is that you can study at home in your own time and at your own pace so you can combine achieving a qualification and industry specific training with your studies, your job or your family commitments.
It is this level of flexibility that makes e-learning the ideal choice for most holiday rep applicants. All you need is a computer or hand-held device with internet access to take this course and there are no time-limits.

Is the course information kept up-to-date?
Sadly, many online courses are rarely updated because course providers get busy creating new courses and neglect their existing ones. We, on the other hand, are an accredited training company serving international job seekers and working with schools, colleges and organisations all over the world.
We have a very real commitment to our clients and students to ensure that our courses are always kept up-to-date. Our business depends on it.
This course is no different and has been created by industry experts. Updates are carried out regularly so as to always be in line with changes to best practice and regulatory authority guidelines and requirements.
How long does the course take?
On average it takes between 25 – 40 hours to complete the course but there are no time limits or restrictions on when you must complete this course.
It might take you a week, a month or a year to complete the course. That’s up to you. But this is one of the great benefits of e-Learning; it is completely flexible because you have the ability to choose to study at times and places and at a pace that is comfortable and convenient to you.
The course system is available 24 hours a day.
How am I graded?
Your overall passing grade is calculated as you move through the course and complete each module test. Your final score is an overall percentage grade of all 18 tests and is printed on to your final pass certificate.
There are no time-limits for completing individual modules and no time limits for taking the tests. However, once you decide to start a test it must be completed in one go. You cannot stop a test midway through and return to it later.
You can view your course history and your current overall grade at anytime during the course.
Tell me more about the module tests?
We have created an advanced self-assessment testing system designed to ensure an effective learning experience.
At the end of each module there is one self-assessment test (18 in total). Each test has a minimum passing score which you must achieve before you can move onto the next module in the course. You can take each module test as many times as you like until you pass, at which point your passing results are logged on our national database and contribute towards your final score.
Our testing system uses an advanced algorithm to assess your results and calculate your score instantly. This means no more waiting days or weeks for an assessor to mark your results and get back to you, like other more outmoded courses.
What are the specific modules I will study?
The Holiday Rep Certificate course consists of 18 in-depth training modules. You can find out about the specific course modules you will study here.
What is the MAXIMUM age I can enrol?
There is no upper age limit to enrol onto this course. Although this industry has always traditionally been a more younger industry, many tour operators are now looking to hire mature applicants who can bring strong customer service or travel experience to their organisation. What’s more holidaymakers often prefer dealing with a more understanding “mature” rep, than a young upstart!
However when it comes to working as a holiday rep, it’s important that you’re in a good state of health and have high levels of energy and enthusiasm for the job. If you can demonstrate this you can be asset to any tour operator.
What is the MINIMUM age?
For most positions and companies, the minimum recruitment age is 18 years, although some companies will only hire from 21 years and above.
If you are under the age of 18 then you can still take the course and achieve your certificate. This way you will be fully prepared and ready to apply when you turn 18. You’ll also have life-time access to the course so you can always refresh yourself on the training modules at a later date.
How long do I get access to course for?
Have you ever taken an online course only to discover that the moment you have completed the course, your access to the course content is removed? You might be surprised to know that many online courses do this – and the people who have paid for the course feel cheated.
You’ll be pleased to know that we do not follow this strategy! After all, you have paid for the course so we guarantee that you’ll get full, unrestricted life-time access to the Holiday Rep Certificate course and all tools and resources available to you.
You’ll always be able to refresh yourself on the course content or access the Advanced Training Centre, latest vacancies and bonuses so that you can refresh yourself whenever you like.
Whether you’re applying next week, next year or, 5 years from now, it’s there. Always. Best of all, we are continually adding more resources and features to the course, so this is actually an investment in yourself that grows in value the longer you use it!
Do I need any prior experience?
No. Most tour operators provide full training to new applicants so you do not need any prior work experience. It’s far more important that you show a willingness to work hard, along with a passion for helping people have a great time. Everything else you’ll be trained on.
However, keep in mind that because of these low-entry requirements this is an extremely competitive industry and you’ll be competing for jobs against thousands of other applicants in the same situation. So, the more you can do to support your application up-front before you apply then the better your chances of success.
That’s why taking the Holiday Rep Certificate course gives you such a huge competitive edge over everybody else because you are effectively applying for a job that you have already been ‘pre-trained’ for – and you’ll have the knowledge, training and qualification to prove it!
Can I use the diploma for any repping job?
Yes. The course will support your application for any type of repping job.
Whether you’re applying to be a children’s rep, family rep, club rep, campsite courier, entertainer, administration assistant, transfer rep and more. The diploma certificate that you are awarded with at the end of the course details the list of industry-specific modules you have studied, which apply to all repping positions.
The accredited certificate will even support your application for other positions in the travel industry, such as travel agent.
Will this course really help me get hired?
Yes! By taking this course you immediately become a more marketable and more desirable candidate; one that stands out above other job seekers in this highly competitive industry.
Your certificate proves to industry recruiters your commitment and dedication to gaining a position as a holiday rep because you have effectively ‘pre-trained’ yourself for the job.
The Holiday Rep Certificate course enables you to talk confidently and knowledgeably at your interview and ultimately become the preferred candidate for the job over somebody who has never taken a course like this and had no prior exposure to holiday rep training.
This is just one of the many reasons why we have an exceptionally high success rate of helping people get hired!
After completing all 18-modules you will also receive automatic access to a wide range of support, latest holiday rep vacancies and job-getting tools, such as our Advanced Training Centre which gives you the inside tools, tips, strategies and mechanics of how to go out and actually secure a position as a holiday rep, the moment you have completed your course!
Can I use my Holiday Rep Certificate to apply to any tour operator?
Yes. The Holiday Rep Certificate is an internationally accredited qualification, created by industry experts and recognised on a worldwide basis.
The eye-catching course certificate that you are awarded with details the list of industry-specific modules you have studied, which is a great discussion point at any interview. This proves that you have the knowledge, training and understanding of the role of a holiday rep that few other applicants have.
